Ok, today my life changes, well maybe tomorrow.
I am buying a house boat. It’s not because of pressure from the city or stay away orders.
I need a place to stay, thats obvious. One of my friends is going to do someting no one else has ever done... Sell me my own house. I am crying now and I am so happy I could die. fuck those motherfuckers at city hall. I will succeed at getting of the street without their help. Soon I will have the proposals ready for new nonprofits, and did I mention I am in a Bachelors Program. I am so Happy. I have no pictures of the boat now. I have to cash my check first, but keep looking here. I will give you some good pictures.
It’s because I have an opportunity that no one else does in my position. Sure I am working hard in school, there is so much that I still may never have enough social clout to do. I mean I doubt they will let me into the S.F. Yacht club still. Who said I want to go there?
It's bad enough I have to walk through the malls and have to listen to people talk about me as if I wasn't there, did not weigh 250 pounds of DIM MAK trained hard street tough. It is really hard not to allow myself to injure people for their harassment. I mean really hard. I have had people run into me trying to shove me in the mall that are spoiled little rich assholes and the cops want to threaten me with charges cause I am a big guy who will stand still on you with arms folded.
I woman in front of the west field wasn't watching where she was going on a packed sidewalk and I couldn't get out of her way, so I planted my feet and crossed my arms, ran into me so hard she fell down and hurt her head. I thought it was intentional. I still do. Her husband threatened me and I was just like "If you feel Froggy, I feel all Jabba the Hut like." This is the city and assholes abound, kind of like ignorance.
People here feel entitled. The cops act like they are entitled too. I dared that cop to arrest me. I said I stood still and could not have pushed her cause my arms were crossed. She collided with me. "Why didn't you move out of her way when she was coming?" Like who the fuck is she, the bloody Queen of England? No, I will not move out of her way, this is a public sidewalk and she needs to watch where she is going. I stopped because they were being rude. I could not avoid her because I was in a crowd. She should watch where she is going instead of window shop at full speed.
Entitlement is against the American way. No one who came to these shores so long ago wanted anything to do with monarchy or feudalism. There is evidence to prove that the Declaration of Independence was geared to absolve America from Monarchy.

Kid is too young to be out here.

He says he is underage and does not have I.d.
I see him everyday. His mother he says is addicted to crack. He has no idea who his father is.
The state is his guardian. He does not have a criminal history.
As far as I can tell he doesn't have any addictions.
He is one of many runaways that make their way down to the park.
Their family fails them, then the government fails them, society fails them by cutting drop-in services, and increasing his chances of criminalization and drug addiction and a life full of hard knocks by limiting his choices.
I and other people in the park take care of him. He sometimes sleeps near me or Richie.
He wants to go to College but has to wait until he is 24 to get in just like me.
He wants to go to Job Corps.
We'll take care of him for now, just remember that I was once 17 and here in the park.
Homeless Youth between 15 and 24 at one time was the most exploited Homeless citizens. Being used for white slavery by giving them drugs, the conservatives exploit them.

See they are all just diseased, devolutioned junkies and theives and you, you are the worst criminal of all. Didn't you escape from the mental institution, cause all homeless people are crazy. YOU are responsible for the five or six needles we find in the bathroom that could possibly be attributed to the 30% of the population that has diabietes, or the housed junkies geting their drugs and doing them immediately.
You should be ashamed of yourself living for free. While all of us hard working people give you SO MUCH MONEY! Those beatings you got from your dad, why you deserved that. Your mother was right for not allowing you to live in her house even though you were still legally her underage son, You were just holding her back. You don't deserve to go to College, those LIBERAL teachers they just practicly hand you that degree because you are homeless. You must be Cheating on your Tests you are homeless so you must be dumb!
This park is only for those people that live in this neighborhood! No one else, there is only three miles by one mile.
You couldn't have had it so bad being homeless, we are world famous for our freebies! People are just pouring in from all over the world. We really have to stop those sweat shop workers from immigrating here and eating all the food in my refrigerator. It is terrible all the free food in San Francisco, making us good hard working citizens pay your way.

This morning... I went to 5th and Lincolin just as I normally do.
Like I did when I slept right at the corner of 6th and Lincolin. I saw the Gardener and turned back and sat on the trail with my camera well away from him. He was on the phone with I belive his supervisor. Then he immediately got off the phone and he shouted at me Leave, get out of here, you are not supposed to be here. Then he began to approach me.
He told me I was not supposed to be there. That he was calling the police. I was harrassing him and keeping him from doing his work.
I told him I was not going to leave, ever if I didn't want to. That calling the police was probably a good thing.
Then he went back to what he was doing, when police would pass he would yell at passing police cars. Three or four ignored him.

By the by today I and the ten other park kids sitting on the benches at the crossroads. The Homeless outreach team was rolling around in the van and not stoping to talk to us the homeless people.
Why are they driving around anyway in the park? Park the van and talk to people. What about my housing since September 28th I have been on that list they made for people to recieve housing.
I need housing, I have called and called and called Rann Parker of the Homeless Outreach Teams which is what she told me to do.
They were driving around in an empty van. If they were really there to provide housing and shelter, this van would be full because there are alot of people needing these services though do not qualify, like me, the medical respite beds and the G.A. beds. These beds are filled by people who are already receiving these services. I don't qualify obivously since Rann Parker doesn't return my phone calls.
If we have to bombard the homeless outreach team with people from the park as an action.
If we must circumvent the confiscation of personal survival gear by direct action.
If we must feed our brothers and sisters because no one else will.
Then we must take action. Our action swift and noble, people looking for justice and a chance to start life over. WE must do this ourselves in spite of the illegal nature of this.
It is illegal to sleep in any park between 10pm and 6am but we do it anyway, because we have no other choice. We must stop the taking of survival gear at any cost, even if that means we must take these items back ourselves. Because that is a threat to our very lives. We must feed our hungry brothers and sisters because they must eat.
We the people that they say can't do anything for ourselves, are lazy, resistant to service because we are crazy or drug addicts. This is a common attitude.
It consistantly feels like we are hidden from view because we are obscured by the small percentage of people who are drug addicted or in need of the services most available and least needed and are neglected anyway.
It always feels as if the people that they hire to work with the homeless as either liasons or service providers seem to be only wanting us to up and disappear, because they are pressuring us to things that we want but can not have, because they believe that we are all lazy, resistant to service because we are crazy or drug addicts.
When they ignore the facts that homelessness happens to about one out of five in their lifetime. Can happen to 82 percent of the population if they miss even two paychecks. One out of 3 will be homeless more than six months. Most homeless in this city are families with children and working individuals. however the services that are most available are those for drug addicted, crazy people, not working people and families with children. We must remember that.
That is not right.

So another night out by the polo fields. Under the awning of the horse stables.
Met a couple last night that recently became homeless. We talked about the legalities of sleeping in the park.
I think it is important to note that we were next to a lit tunnel that faces a bathroom near Sprekles lake and The Polo field. This tunnel was full of shoping carts and sleeping older people during the night.
The area seemed neglected even though both the Horse Police are stationed there and the Model Yacht Club, and the Senior center. Some of the People sleeping in the tunnel no doubt use the senior center.
There were shopping carts and people while the rain came down they peacefully slumbered in the obvious dry space.
The Mc Donalds Manager at Haight and Stanyan is notorious for assaulting Homeless people, and ripping them off.
Porportedly this individual was grabbed by the store manager and spilled hot coffee on himself.
It is nice to still see park kids who have gotten off the streets. After more than a year my friend Saul works for John Fogertys brother and Tommy Lee at a club they own downtown.
Saul still comes out to be with his family. He is my family for sure.
Black Flag Pirate Crew got their stuff taken by the park vigilantes. That paper he is holding is the notice that they are now using to show that their stuff has indeed been taken. I am sure I didn't have anything to do with it. But the park kids are uniting I am but making the path clear.

8,500 people homeless any given night in San Francisco.
Only a little over a thousand beds for homeless individuals.
Most of them are Working, Intellegent people, Students, Seniors, Familes with Children, but you keep generalizing our characters as diseased infested, drug addicted, criminally insane people, that should be locked up!
They tell us we don't pay taxes so we don't deserve to be able to vote, to have a voice, to advance our position in life. Yet every person within the borders of this country has certain self-evident in-aliable rights. Every person that buys or sells pays taxes. We are equal dispite the ability to pay taxes. We are equal despite what we do for a living or how we live our life. No matter what Race, sexuality, religious or spiritual path, or degree of faith in the system. This is guaranteed by the constitution. Our founding fathers Thomas Paine, John Hancock, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, were against British and European policies and even puritanical rule. Radicals in their own time. The most Progressive Revolutionaries of all time and yet their efforts could all be in vain.
They would be up in arms after seeing the way our society runs itself with the inequality of life and the downsizing of labor, 25 years of federal neglience of public or subsidized housing. Of course back then there were no corporations no way you couldn't trade and very little law to keep you from just starting a pot farm like George Washington. Growing Hemp for the New Country and REVOLUTION that they started.
Goddess Bless America, but provide real Solutions to the problems.
Over one hundred college students are homeless people trying to better their education so they can finaly make enough money to actually have something of their own.
Over a thousand in Golden Gate park, only a hundred empty beds and Mayor Newsom wants to "punish" us for refusing services like he punished Bessie and her two sons, my self and all the park.
But Mayor Newsoms answer and the rest of the city's elite suggests that maybe we should just leave San Francisco.

After being in the Hospital trying to get my tooth extracted,
and failing.
I spent all friday and saturday in pain and did not take any pictures except my documentation from the dentist. I am not willing to share that.
I decided to take it easy. I wrote a paper petition which hopefully I can have scanned in soon I put out an activist alert at http://care2.com wrote a petition @ : http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/795342132
A wicked wind blows through Golden Gate Park. Gentrification poisons our neighborhood and threatens the poor. Corporate Monoculture threatens our Small Buisnesses. The Park is a Safe place to sleep at night for so many of our cities troubled. More than a thousand people sleep in this park. Only one hundred empty shelter beds that are inaccessable to the people of the Park.
Park officials have been surrounding incampments, coercing homeless individuals to leave the park with threats judgemental epitaphs, to take critical survival gear and treasured possesions of those who have little. This threatens their lives with exposure and hypothermia. According to certain anti-homeless organizations this is the least they can do to curb crime in the park that does not exist.
This practice is life threatening, illegal, discriminatory, counter productive and is costing the city millions. Through lawsuits for property that after being taken, makes the city liable for missing items that as a matter of policy are not to be stored.
